Silk dyed with madder, wool dyed with woad over banana skin and madder paper
This greeting card design is made with Habotai silk dyed red with madder and hand spun blue-faced Leicester wool dyed blue with woad couched in a Galaxy shape and embroidered with silk thread. The brown-speckled paper is made from banana skin paper and the pink paper is made with a mixture of madder roots and recycled paper.
