Brush adhesive on the inside of the framework, pick a piece of wet paper and place on adhesive. Brush a little adhesive over it. Place the next piece of paper on the pencil holder overlapping the first piece. Apply more adhesive and add more pieces of paper until you have covered the inside of the pencil holder. Use the brush to press the damp paper into the corners at the base of the pencil holder. Cover the rim and do two more layers, so that you have three layers altogether. Let it dry overnight resting on its base. [photo shows start of next stage applying paper to outside of holder].
