More about our handmade lokta origami paper from Nepal
Lokta is one of the most interesting plant fibre papers for origami. Lokta sheets have a subtle shading and mottling to them that is just distinct enough to be interesting but not so bold as to be distracting.
Papers made from Lokta are resistant to water and can be used for origami wet folding. Sheets of lokta origami paper can also be coloured with water soluble dyes or printed with patterns or messages on a computer printer that can be worked into the origami design.
Our lokta origami papers are cut to 20 cm square (approximately 8 inches square).
